Tax bills online at Land Record Portal.  
You may pay your taxes in full or first payment (due January 31st) to the Town of Bass Lake.
Second payment (due July 31st) made payable and sent to Sawyer County Treasurer.

Make Checks/Money Orders payable to Town of Bass Lake Treasurer
We do not accept cash or credit cards at this time.  Please add a telephone number to the check/money order.  Please write legible and check wording for accuracy.  Don't forget to sign your check!

REMINDERS:
  • Please do not staple or tape your checks to envelope or payment stub
  • Include the payment stub with your remittance
  • Use Tax bill number NOT the parcel ID for reference in the memo
  • Include a valid email address with your payment (new for 2023/2024)
  • If you would like a receipt you MUST include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope. 
  • Receipts can also be printed from the Sawyer County Website: sawyercountygov.org

Payments Made After February 1st

Payments made after February 1st and all delinquent taxes MUST be mailed to Sawyer County Treasurer, not to the Town of Bass Lake.
All address changes and updates MUST be done with Sawyer County Treasurer
All name changes must be recorded at Sawyer County Register of Deeds. 715-634-4867

ROOM TAX INFORMATION

The Hayward Lakes Visitors and Convention Bureau (HLVCB), Sawyer County, WI would like to list your rental property on their website. A portion of the room tax collected in the Town of Bass Lake is directed to the HLVCB to be used to promote lodging. Please contact them direct at 715-634-4801 or through the website www.haywardlakes.com

TOWN OF BASS LAKE HAS A 4% ROOM TAX FOR ANY PROPERTY THAT RENTS OR LEASES FOR OVERNIGHT LODGING.
Ordinance 2021-04-201

If you use a VRBO, Expedia, AirBnB, Homeaway or any other management company, you are required to set up the 4% room tax with them.
Make sure the payments are mailed to Town of Bass Lake Treasurer, quarterly, with the property site noted with the payment. As the property
owner YOU are responsible for sending the accounting each quarter. Quarterly reports are due even if $0 was collected for the quarter. The
